Elections of BAR council will be organised on December 1 in the town. An ad hoc committee issued election programme schedule on Saturday. According to the schedule, primary voter list will be published on November 20 and later the claims and objections about the voter list will be disposed of on November 22. The final voter list will be published on November 23.
Nomination forms will be accepted and checked on November 26. The candidates could withdraw names on November 27 and which the list of candidates will be issued. Polling will be conducted on December 1 and the results will be declared after counting of votes. Ad hoc committee convener advocate Ranjana Bamne informed about the election programme.
