Commissioner directed the officials to start construction work of national highway from January 15 and the cases of compensation against the acquisition of land should be solved up to January 31.
Collector RK Jain, NHAI project director IM Siddiqui, manager KPS Chouhan, VM Gupta, Shivpuri SDM DK Jain and Kolaras SDM VP Mathur were present in the meeting.
Commissioner Singh said that four lane road construction of Gwalior-Shivpuri and Shivpuri-Dewas will have to start in time limit. Chief Minister himself reviews the progress of work. Singh discussed with the officials about the progress of acquisition of land and technical problems in the matter.
Commissioner further said that guideline of government should be followed during land acquisition process. He also said that the farmers’ interest will be kept in view on top priority and also directed the officials that the amount against land acquisition should be deposited in the bank account of farmers directly.
He said that the construction of Shivpuri-Dewas road will be started from the land of farmers of 5 villages. He directed the officials to ensure that the farmers should be provided amount up to January 15 after solving the cases.
He also directed the NHAI officials to start construction work from January 15. He directed the officials in joint meeting that distribution of compensation amount and construction of road should be started simultaneously and to be completed in time limit.
Collector RK Jain said that the action of land acquisition for both the roads is on final phase. He informed that for Shivpuri-Dewas road the action of acquisition of 187 hectare land for 58km long road in Shivpuri district has been completed.
Similarly, acquisition of 174 hectare land for 60km long road for Gwalior-Shivpuri road will be completed soon.
