JABALPUR.
Minister, Animal Husbandry and Gau Samvardhan Board, Ajay Vishnoi has announced that a sanctuary for bovine will be developed in the state up to next year.
Vishnoi addressing on the occasion of Gopashtami at Malviya Chowk informed that the bovine sanctuary will be established at Susner in Shajapur district.
He said that bhoomi poojan of the sanctuary will be performed by RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat in December month.
Minister said that the sanctuary will be unique of its kind where 10,000 cows will be kept. The sanctuary will be dedicated next year on Gopashtami Parv.
Vishnoi said that the sanctuary will be developed at around 1000 acre of land and animal husbandry department has sanctioned Rs2crore for the purpose.
Vishnoi also expressed commitment of state government towards bovine protection in the programme. The conveners honoured the animal husbandry minister presenting memento.
Samarth Bhaiyaji Sarkar, Brahmachari Swami Chaityanand Maharaj and MLA Harendrajeet Singh Babbu also addressed the programme.
Zila Panchayat chairman Bharat Singh Yadav, social activist Jitendra Jamdar, Ashish Dubey, former mayor Vishwanath Dubey and others were present on the occasion.
